Summary

This bill shifts the distribution of the motor vehicle excise tax, effective July 1, 2018, from the General Fund to the State Road Fund (50 percent) and the County Arterial Program of the Local Governments Road Fund (50 percent).

A possible benefit of this bill might be an improved transportation infrastructure due to increased funding of the State and Local Governments Road Funds.
