Jump to Bills ↓Clearly, Agriculture and food production have an important relationship with New Mexico’s natural environment. However, a substantial amount of legislation introduced each year pertains to agriculture and food policy — most of which involve minor appropriations that will have little to no direct impact on our natural environment. Any proposed measures that have clear environmental considerations — particularly water policy, land use, organic food production, local food and produce, and application of pesticides and herbicides – will be included here.
