About the Glossary

From time to time, you may come across an abbreviation or term that is used on Protect New Mexico that you are not familiar with. That’s why Protect New Mexico has an easy to use glossary to provide additional information about various terms on the site. Visit the full glossary by clicking here.

There are three different glossary sections under the glossary tab on the website’s main menu. They are:

Bill Abbreviations: a list of the abbreviations you might find on individual bill pages.

Committee Abbreviations: a list of all Senate and House committee abbreviations listed on individual bill pages. Visit the “Committee” page for more information about each committee by clicking here.

Full Glossary: a comprehensive list of all abbreviations and definitions for terms found on Protect New Mexico. You can also search the full glossary by using the keyword filter at the top of the page. This will help you pinpoint words or phrases quickly and efficiently.

You can toggle between glossary pages by hovering over the “Glossary” tab with your mouse pointer, and selecting the page you would like to view.
