Summary

This bill requires that administrative hearings held by the Office of the State Engineer must be held in the county in which the water right at issue is adjudicated, licensed or permitted, unless the parties and the State Engineer stipulate another site for the hearing.

A possible benefit of this bill might be that it will be easier for those individuals most affected by a water rights issue to attend hearings on the issue.
