Summary

The bill repeals several sections of current law that set forth standards for apples, pears and peaches in order to market and grade those products effectively. Fruit grown for home consumption is exempt.

 

One argument for the bill might be that the concern is addressed by the Produce Marketing Act, sections 76-15-10 thorugh 22 NMSA 1978.
