Summary

This bill exempts New Mexico native chile pepper (also known as “chile nativo” or “pueblo chile”) varieties, and products containing them from the false advertizing prohibitions of the New Mexico Chile Advertising Act.

A potential concern regarding this bill might be that it may undermines the New Mexico Chile Advertising Act by exempting some of the same chile varieties that the act otherwise aims to protect.
