Summary
The bill creates a heritage series of special license plates for motor vehicles that will depict a variety of themes and designs, including, among many others, the atomic age bighorn sheep, cattlemen, oilmen and horned toads. The additional revenue generated by the plates is appropriated to the Taxation and Revenue Department.
One benefit of this bill might be that it may raise awareness of certain aspects of New Mexico’s heritage.
